Pick up with driver in hotel and transfer to the Starting Point of the E-Bike Tour where you will be meeting with your guide. This itinerary starts from the coast from Santa Domenica di Ricadi, and continues along the countryside, passing through the pretty villages of Ricadi, Drapia, Brattirò, Caria, Zaccanopoli, Zambrone, Parghelia, Tropea and through endless fields of flowers and grain, where the view of the sea is interspersed with the lush hills and the green valleys. The landscapes encountered are varied: valleys, rivers, canyons, and oak woods. You’ll have the opportunity to see the Mediterranean bush in all its beauty and variety. The itinerary is of medium difficulty, however, made simple by the latest generation e-bikes which, thanks to their support, make the route accessible almost for all. The along country lanes away from the traffic. You will enjoy a relaxing silence interrupted only by the sounds of nature. The route is very scenic and offers suggestive landscapes that will make you fall in love. After crossing the Poro plateau (710 meters above sea level) we will make a stop in Zambrone where we will have a break to refresh ourselves in a typical restaurant, in the charming square of the small village. After this stop, we will return at the starting point always through a suggestive route.The total route is approximately 42 km.Private Transfer back to hotel.

2.Trekking in the Path of Grain, 3-4 hours

The road of wheat is a trekking path created on the ancient path of cultivation, production and milling of wheat. Ancient paths, mule tracks were used to transport the precious grain. A walk through the countryside and woods, along which you will find old abandoned mills and old “breste” farmhouses, evidence of the typical rural architecture of the area, made of raw earth. These residences used by farmers and shepherds represent a historical heritage that well represents what was the lifestyle

of the area. Depending on the season we will meet different flowers and fruits belonging to the Mediterranean scrub, from different varieties of broom to strawberry trees, from holm oak to honeysuckle and so on.

It originates in Basilicata with the name of Mercure and becomes Lao entering the Calabrian territory. The Lao River flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea in Scalea, along the Cedri Riviera, close to Praia a Mare and Dino’s Island.

Trekking Monte Gada / Monte “La Destra”

 

Monte Gada: a view between Pollino and the Tyrrhenian Sea. From the peaceful village of Boccalupo, you’ll go up towards the Monte Gada refuge. From here you’ll go up to thesummit of Monte Gada, 1264 m, and goalong a small limestone ridge, covered with small patches of beech and maple trees that opens your eyes to the entire Pollino massif, the Mercure Valley and the Policastro Gulf on the Tyrrhenian coast. Descending on the characteristic Molarrieto plateau you’ll come back to Boccalupo. At the end it’s also possible to reach the prehistoric site of Romito Cave.

Rafting Lao River Canyon

The Canyon of the Lao River is a natural

breath-taking sight now become famous thanks to Rafting activity. It’s a perfect adventure for who loves having fun in harmony with the nature, always led by our experts in complete safe.

We will go rafting along the most suggestive section of the Lao river, a rocky canyon 7,5 miles long and in some points 985 feet high.

Mountain Bike On Castle Route

 

This Bike tour starts from the base camp in San Primo and then crosses a wood surrounded by nature where at the foot there are the "Pantani", an important place from an agricultural point of view given its fertility. From the forests you will continue to the old “ghost” village of LainoCastello with its immense charm. Your guide will tell all the history of Laino Borgo between the stone portals, the various historical characters who have inhabited it and its ancient culture.
